Meet the Team

Tom Cronin

Across his career, Tom has led at nearly every level of public education, from special education teacher to principal, superintendent, regional director, and most recently Executive Director of GREEN Charter Schools. He has built two magnet high schools and a range of programs for students of every ability from the ground up. He also knows firsthand what school can mean to a child, having relied on it for the stability home could not always offer, and that perspective keeps his work grounded in the students and staff behind every decision. Tom brings a career spent building schools from the ground up, and the belief that lasting change starts with identity.

Gino LoRicco

Gino has more than forty years in school administration and teaching, leading schools at the elementary, middle, and high school levels across rural, suburban, and inner-city communities. In 2008, he became founding teaching principal of Quinebaug Middle College in Danielson, Connecticut, a democratic learning community built to meet the needs of all students regardless of ability or background. His focus now is to inspire educators to build warm, democratic classrooms and schools where students are empowered to grow their dreams. Gino brings a career of student-centered leadership, and the belief that students grow when trusted to help lead.

Vince Atkinson

Vince brings more than twenty years in private-sector operations alongside twelve years as a classroom educator. That mix lets him connect organizational leadership and real-world business experience with what actually happens in a classroom. He holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Clemson University and a STEAM certification, and has completed all but one course toward a Master's in Supervision and Administration. At the center of his work is a simple belief: every student can learn, and the right environment and support are what bring that desire to the surface. Vince brings business operations and classroom experience together, turning insight into tools schools can use.
